Dakar Rally organiser Etienne Lavigne has played down the risk of gang kidknappings and ambushings on next year’s event, following reports in France that suggested competitors could be endangered.

I say good. Racing improves the breed, in the first place, and in the second, I think that Nissan should throw down with the GT-R.

Unlike Honda pulling out of F1 or Subaru ditching the WRC, Chevy is pulling out of a series that it is WINNING.
