According to Autocar the upcoming E92 BMW M3 V8 will be available with a 7-speed double clutch gearbox. This is not a revision of the previous models SMG which was considered at best a flawed driving experience. It sounds as though the new 7-speed is similar in concept to Volkswagen’s brilliant DSG.

2011 BMW 5 Series Wagon

BMW released photos and details about the new BMW 5 Series Touring. Measuring 4.907 mm in lenght, 1.860 mm width and 1.462 mm height, the wheelbase has only 2.970 mm - with 2 mm longer than the 4-door model. BMW 5 Series Touring comes with a new body, but its worth noticing the boot space of 560 L - expandable to 1670.
