It’s quite unbelievable but the driver of this Audi RS4 apparently walked away from his wrecked car without a scratch and used his mobile phone to call emergency services.
German tuners Manhart Racing got tired of BMW not offering the M3 as a Touring model (wagon,) so they decided to create one themselves. They took the standard 3-series wagon (not available in the States,) and added their own body work, consisting of a front apron, front side panels, side skirts, and the “powerdome” hood from the M3 sedan
, then designed their own M3-style rear apron and widened the rear wheel-arches.
Imagine being able to stow your golf clubs, bike, and luggage in the back, while having room in the rear seat for your beloved dog, and, with the help of the 400+hp V8, you’ll get to your destination faster and smoother than ever before.
The 2009 Toyota Venza is quite an interesting vehicle. It looks like a small crossover SUV, or maybe a wagon, but smaller than both. It’s the length of a Toyota Camry, the width of the Highlander, and in between the two for every other dimension. Despite never figuring out what the Venza really is, I found one important thing about it: it’s incredibly useful.
Have you ever wondered if Audis are safe vehicles? Wonder no more - here is the proof you need. This driver, who’s nickname should now be “Lucky,” apparently lost control of his Audi RS6 and slid sideways into a tree at high speed. Very high speed I would imagine, since...
Looking to the future, Volkswagen unveiled a new concept coupe at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show. In addition to this, they have identified the United States as a critical market for them in the upcoming years. The company expects to double its market share in the United States over the next three to four years. During this time, Volkswagen estimates it will sell some 450,000 vehicles, many of which manufactured in the United States.
Ford used the Frankfurt Auto Show to display one of its newest products, the all-new Ford C-MAX. What makes this especially notable is the fact that it’s coming to the North American market to the delight of Waldorf Ford and others. With a stylish exterior and seating for seven, the C-MAX will likely excite buyers that are torn between a crossover vehicle or a wagon.
First undisguised photos of the premium segment mid-size SUV show that the next Volvo XC70 will get significantly more powerful and masculine appearance. It will look more like a scaled-down version of the range-topping Volvo XC90 rather than a more brutal variant of a V70 station wagon as it is now.
Technical info is still unavailable but, comparing to the outgoing vehicle, the 2008 Mazda6 looks really nice, standing out of the "made in Japan" crowd.
Looks like Kia’s been busy over the past year. At the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, Kia unveiled a total of five new models, along with their new “EcoDynamics” sub-brand. Most of the new stuff will only be available in Europe, at least initially. Let’s take a look at what they’re offering…
With big SUVs and even smaller crossover SUVs becoming less popular as the price of gas rises (and the economy sinks,) Americans still need a vehicle with enough utility to carry their stuff around, and sedans just don’t hold enough cargo. For example, the 2009 VW Jetta TDI sedan has 16 cubic ft of truck space. Get that same car in the SportWagen edition, and the cargo capacity increases to 67 cubic ft with the rear seats folded down.
The Nissan Murano crossover, first released in 2003, was a big hit for Nissan. Practical looks, a great powertrain, and a high level of utility made it a winner that competes with the Ford Edge, Toyota Highlander, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Chevy Traverse. In 2007 as sales started to decline, Nissan pulled the Murano off the lots for 2008 and began working on an updated model for 2009 without straying too far from the winning Murano formula. We drive the redesigned 20098 Nissan Murano. How is it?
The Mercedes-Benz CLS four-door coupe will soon have another competitor – the Audi A7. This new Audi model will be for sale in Europe beginning 2010 as a 2011 model, says German magazine Auto Motor und Sport, and will likely hit US shores in 2011.
Audi gave us some details on the newest addition to the A5 line – the A5 Sportback. The idea here is that the Sportback will be as “emotional and elegant as a coupe, as comfortable as a sedan, and as practical as an Avant.” It will have four doors, which makes me wonder why...

You can tell this driver has been thinking about drifting this circle with his mom’s Audi Wagon for quite a while. That driver has some mad skillz, and it looks like he’s having one hell of a time. Ok, move over, it’s my turn, I wanna try.

Remember this "CLS Wagon" pictured above, well I do. This image has made it on to virtually every car website, including BenzInsider, in the matter of hours. Nobody really knew what it was or where it came from, but almost everyone liked it. A lot people debated if it was a modified CLS, or an E-class wagon with a CLS front. The only thing that nobody could really answer was if it was real or, like we see a lot of, photoshopped.
The Special Edition Commodore SVZ Wagon is here. Designed for the driver who demands sports styling, performance and versatility, it comes complete with a long list of bonus features. The biggest bonus of all though, is its price. Continuing Holden’s tradition of outstanding value, this is one wagon destined to go fast.
Even though the refreshed XC70 is a little bit pricier than the 2007MY vehicle, it is in fact a little bit cheaper, because of inflation. It's the economy, stupid.
