In Mercedes tuning news, MEC Design has just unveiled a new bodykit for the W216 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class. Entitled the 2FACE Bodykit, the CL styling package features a new front apron with driving and fog lights, side skirts with or without LED lighting, a new vented rear apron, and last but not least, a three-piece rear spoiler.

I was invited to the Nelson Ledges Raceway in Ohio to test-drive SPI’s latest projects: the Porsche 997 GT2 and Nissan GT-R. Initial laps were treated as a warm-up both for the machines and me, but my pace quickened as I began to rein in all 800 hp from these retuned sports cars.

Bespoke Range Rover tuner Overfinch has revealed their newest performance upgrade, this time for Land Rovers new Turbo-Diesel V8 Range Rover. The new Overfinch Range Rover Vogue TDV8 GT features their very stylish performance 5-piece Aero Body Styling Pack, 22″ wheels and loads of bespoke upgrades, but what blows our mind is the phenomenal power and torque increase from the already potent TDV8. Japanese tuning firm Wald has unveiled the first glimpse of their styling package for the new E, and as you can see above, it looks to provide a significantly more aggressive appearance to the sedan (judging from the front at least).

German-based tuner Loma Performance takes the term "wide body" to a whole new realm with its "BlackforceOne" Corvette package. The only thing that falls flat here is the press releases comparison that this Corvette is somehow "reminiscent" of Boeing's Air Force One. Clearly the Corvette is more of stealth fighter than passenger jet with its 783 hp bi-turbo V8 engine and copious carbon fiber body parts.
Munich Germany-based Geiger Motor Cars loves to tune Corvettes. Recently, they took delivery of a White Corvette ZR1 and worked their magic both under the hood and on the exterior and the Geiger GTS Corvette ZR1 was born. Introduced this week at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the newly minted Corvette ZR1 Geiger GTS now boasts 710 hp.

We were going down to log one of our customers' P800 GTR Nissans in extreme heat, and see what we could see. Known for their bold designs, the tuning firm Hamann recently turned their attention to the Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG, transforming it into a model they're calling the Hamann Typhoon. From a power standpoint, its figures are impressive: 600hp (441kW) and 576lb-ft (782Nm) of torque, enough to propel the SUV from 0-62 mph in 5.1 seconds and help it reach a top speed of 162 mph.
