The Volkner Mobil mobile home features a mobile garage situated between the front and rear axles that can stow lower cars like the BMW Z4, MINI Cooper convertible and Mercedes-Benz SLK.

A designer who has spent most of his career working on parts for Formula One cars has come up with a new, off-road wheelchair. The Trekinetic K2 dispenses with the old tubular chassis and uses a carbon fibre monocoque instead. Designer Mike Spindle was inspired to create the off-road chair when he saw someone wheeling through an airport lounge.

BMW announced today it would be equipping select 2007 models with Real Time Traffic Information. Provided by Clear Channel's Total Traffic Network to 44 major American cities, the service will be available on the 3-, 5-, and 6-Series models, as well as the X5, M5 and M6.
