Toyota officially unveiled their FT-86 concept car at the Tokyo Motor Show 2009. It’s creation previews the joint development between Toyota & Subaru to create a sports car. The FT86 “embodies speed and the excitement of driving that give cars their appeal as well as environmental performance.”

Subaru will debut it's Impreza crossover at this year's Geneva Motor Show. Named Subaru Impreza XV, it will be a 5-door model with a distinct styling : new front griller and wheel arches, roof spoiler and special roof rails. Subaru Impreza XV comes in 2 types of motoring, one diesel and one gasoline, both with the Euro 5 CO2 emission standard. The gasoline version will feature a 2.0 L horizontally-opposed unit, while the diesel will run the company's BOXER Diesel unit.

TOKYO — Mid-2009 signals the 20th anniversary of the Subaru Legacy. So what better time to unveil the next-generation model?
