BMW India on Thursday launched two new variants of the best selling BMW 3 Series Sedan, the new BMW 320d Corporate Edition (Diesel) and the new BMW 330i (Petrol). The new cars will be available at BMW India dealerships across India from 25 February 2010 onwards.
If you lived anywhere near the Raleigh, NC area in late 2008, you may have heard a mysterious and loud blood-curdling scream off in the distance. Yup, that was me when I found out the Audi made the decision to replace their magnificent 4.2-liter, 354 hp V8 engine with a whiny V6 engine producing 333 hp. By whiny, of course I mean supercharged (despite the weird “V6T” badge.) It was love at first exhaust note, me and the V8
Sexy model Helen Su test drives, drifts, and drags the hell out of a pair of Mercedes Benz CLS sedans while wearing nothing but a little bikini. Cars provided by Harbor Motorsports. The last part of the the video has Helen covered in soapy, sudsy Mr. Bubbles! (EP3)
The speculative 4 Door Lamborghini Estoque was recently spotted outside in the wild somewhere in Italy. Check out he clean lines and how beautiful she is in the wild!
Not long after Audi gave us a teaser image of the redesigned 2010 A8, we get these first real shots of the car, which is said to have an “evolutionary” design. What that means is not much has changed, but now it’s fresh. It’s sleeker than the outgoing design, and its taillights resemble those of the Lamborghini LP560-4, the way I see it.
Audi just sent out an email to newsletter subscribers to check out the new 2010 S4, which is now featured on their customer-facing AudiUSA.com website.
The A4 is a fantastic vehicle, and serves as a high quality, luxurious and sporty version of a mid-range sedan. The S4, which for 2009 was not updated with the new A4 design, is now part of the new generation, and it looks great.
German tuners Manhart Racing got tired of BMW not offering the M3 as a Touring model (wagon,) so they decided to create one themselves. They took the standard 3-series wagon (not available in the States,) and added their own body work, consisting of a front apron, front side panels, side skirts, and the “powerdome” hood from the M3 sedan
, then designed their own M3-style rear apron and widened the rear wheel-arches.
Kia’s new Forte sedan and coupe compacts are a big step forward for the Korean brand. Kia has always been seen as a bargain-basement type brand, with cheap, decent cars that never really stood up to the big players like Toyota and Honda. The Forte, however, launches Kia square into the competition.
Ever since man began making cars for more than just getting from A to B, two-door coupes have been a sign of automotive enthusiasm and overall sportiness that a four-door sedan simply could not fulfill. A recent wave of sport sedans and four-door coupes have been introduced to the market, but for us sports car enthusiasts, they just aren’t good enough.
Today GM finally presented its 2011 Chevy Cruze compact sedan and released a set of hi-res photos of the vehicle's interior. Frankly speaking, I'm impressed.
The 2009 Toyota Venza is quite an interesting vehicle. It looks like a small crossover SUV, or maybe a wagon, but smaller than both. It’s the length of a Toyota Camry, the width of the Highlander, and in between the two for every other dimension. Despite never figuring out what the Venza really is, I found one important thing about it: it’s incredibly useful.
Looking to the future, Volkswagen unveiled a new concept coupe at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show. In addition to this, they have identified the United States as a critical market for them in the upcoming years. The company expects to double its market share in the United States over the next three to four years. During this time, Volkswagen estimates it will sell some 450,000 vehicles, many of which manufactured in the United States.
For years, manufacturers such as Lexus, Acura, and Cadillac have tried to beat, or at least take some share away from the BMW 3-Series’ firm grip on the luxury sports sedan/coupe market. None, however have come as close as the Infiniti G35. Some say the G35 even surpassed the 3-Series. I for one loved the G35 Coupe. Fun to drive, great handling, great looking, and the best exhaust note this side of $60K.
Today we find ourselves with a few more spy shots of the upcoming Audi A7, this time courtesy of Car Magazine. The heavily camo’d A7 test mule doesn’t give away anything more than we didn’t already know, but it’s good to see one on the streets.
General Motors did the North American unveiling of its new (for America) Chevy Cruze. The General says that the Cruze is a “Popular global car refined for America”. Whether that flies with the U.S. car buying public remains to be seen, but what is known is that the Cruze will supposedly get up to 40 mpg highway, and will also feature a new family of small-displacement engines, including an Ecotec 1.4L 4 cylinder turbo.
To me, Lexus has always been for elitists - someone who cares way too much about what other people think. They are purchased by those who are willing to grossly overpay for a rebadged Toyota to impress his neighbors and coworkers. We get one for a week. Is it still just a rebadged Toyota?
I knew what to expect last week when they dropped off Hyundai’s new Genesis luxury sedan. Ever since the Genesis line was announced, they’ve been touting how the car in on-par with Lexus and Mercedes at a much lower price point. But when the car actually pulled up into the driveway, it was still hard to believe I was looking at a Hyundai.
Wouldnt the world be a better place if people could just admit when theyd done something wrong? Well, to our surprise, Mazda did just that at a recent preview of its new Mazda 6 sedan.
Kia’s motto, “The Power to Surprise” has been all fluff up until recently. With the Kia Soul released this year and now the Forte, I’m looking forward to whatever else this car maker has up their Korean sleeves. We review the all new 2010 Kia Forte.
The talented yet eccentric designers at cardesign.ru have recently whipped up a whack of interesting Ferrari 4 Door Concept Photo renderings as you can see.
These rendered speculations comes at the very recent heels of the Porsche Panamera, Aston Martin Rapide and the upcoming unveiling of the Lamborghini Estoque.
Students at the University of San Diego happened across an unusual sighting a couple days ago. Apparently Audi was doing a photo shoot of the new A5 Sportback at the school, and these cell phone camera-equipped students snapped a few photos of the car almost completely unveiled...
The sedan will feature regenerative-brake technology that takes some of the stress of running the alternator off the engine by using heat lost from the brakes. Somehow this translates to 10% fuel savings, too.
