Our sources inside Toyota say an all-new Prius is due around 2008, as a 2009 model year and some are speculating it will be radical in terms of performance. We hear it may be turbocharged, which could help reduce 0-60 times to the 8-second range. We also hear it will deliver upwards of 70-80 mpg thanks at least in part to a new lithium ion battery pack and plug-in capability.
