A few years ago, things were much simpler. Take your pick: a Minivan or an SUV. As car companies began to introduce the Crossover, decisions became that much more difficult. By combining the desirable traits of both minivans and sport utility vehicles, crossovers have become very attractive to those in the market for a family car. When it comes to the decision making process, we can’t cure that headache of yours, but we help ease it by taking a look at what each product has to offer.
Ever since man began making cars for more than just getting from A to B, two-door coupes have been a sign of automotive enthusiasm and overall sportiness that a four-door sedan simply could not fulfill. A recent wave of sport sedans and four-door coupes have been introduced to the market, but for us sports car enthusiasts, they just aren’t good enough.
A favorite genre of many auto fiends is the “sleeper” - a car that looks like grandma’s Mercury but goes like stink. In this day and age of flashy, showy performance - with all the standard body kits, huge spoilers and obnoxious red badging automakers seem to believe belong on performance cars, the sleeper is a dying breed.

To some it's Deja vu; to others it was simply a matter of time before GM tried to market another Holden in the United States. This time, however, the offer seems to have something to please everyone-and plenty to scare its competitors.

GM announced today that they will be phasing out the Pontiac brand by the end of 2010. This news came right after they announced they will also be cutting 21,000 hourly jobs and reducing their dealer count by 42% within the same time frame. This, in an effort to stay out of bankruptcy, of course.

50 Cent - Amusement Park - Pontiac G8 and Pontiac G6 GXP as co-stars
You can't really blame Pontiac for giving its Pontiac G8 Concept and Pontiac G6 GXP to rapper 50 Cent to use in his video for the song "Amusement Park". After all, pick a premium nameplate like Bentley, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini or Ferrari and one could find at least half a dozen music videos in which each marque has been featured prominently.
So I just got off a conference call with the fine folks at the Pontiac Underground blog, and I thought I should answer a few questions that I’m sure many of you are asking yourselves regarding GM killing off Pontiac.
Needless to say, the tone of the call was somewhat bleak, but they were happy to answer all questions. I’ll go over a few questions that I’ve received regarding this, and a few other things that they mentioned on the call:

50 Cent is a busy man, and his appearance at SEMA is for more than just show. The night before the convention started, 50 unveiled the new Pontiac G8 surrounded by GM executives, automotive suppliers and journalists in a ballroom at the Wynn Las Vegas.
You can deduce most of what you need to know about the differences between modern male and female car buyers from our lists of the cars that are most popular with each gender. The data, which Kelley Blue Book generated for Forbes.com, shows which new-model vehicles have the highest percentage of male versus female registrants and vice-versa.
Here are a few photos from Wall Speedway in Wall, NJ. The track is only a few minutes from the Gardella Racing facility. Gardella Racing driver Ryan Tuerck was out on a chilly Sunday afternoon testing his new drift vehicle. Ryan did a great job with the new car, it looked as though he has been driving it for years.
Companies come up with concept cars all the time. If consumers like it, most of the time the car maker will produce a more “pedestrian” version of the concept and push it to market. But there are some cars out there should just be left on the drawing board, no matter what. So what’s the first car on our list that shouldn’t exist?
There is no doubt the when it comes to ‘car guys’ Jay Leno is a huge car enthusiast with his own online TV show about cars and a gigantic warehouse full of expensive and rare vehicles.
We have to admit that we really enjoy a good car industry rumour at CARupdate, especially when it involves Australia in some way. Overnight, the internet was all a-buzz with the latest rumour concerning the Pontiac G6.
By now, it is common knowledge that the Big Three is now the Big Two. Chrysler, ever the more anemic of the three beasts, has filed for bankruptcy, and only two are left. Ford seems to be doing okay, in fact, they sold more cars in April than Toyota did. So now it’s GM that’s close to hearing that death knell. But fear not, for here is my ten-point plan to pin the medals back on the mighty General.
