The new Volkswagen Polo GTI comes with a 1.4 L TSI engine generating 180 horse-power and 6.200 rpm and 184 lb.-ft. of torque. Volkswagen Polo GTI can reach 100/kmh in only 6.90, with a top sped of 228 km/h. This high-performance engine is coupled to a 7-speed, twin-clutch DSG gearbox. To improve traction and handling, the Polo GTI is also fitted with a XDS differential and a electronic cross-axle traction control system.
