Sometime last year, a few Photoshop gurus got together and made some very funny “mini” versions of their favorite cars. The trend caught on, and soon lots of people were taking their favorite cars, and through the process of image manipulation, made them mini versions of themselves.

You will notice, there are a tonne of photos with the lights in the event turned on, I stuck around for a while after last call and dodged security guard after security guard until 45 minutes later 2 of them cornered me and literally walked me out of the show.
HOT OFF THE PRESS FINALLY!!! Honda has apparently started testing pre-production prototypes of its highly anticipated 2010 Acura NSX, as speculated by these recent spy photos taken in Germany.
We have recently been treated to several zebra-pattern camouflage 2010 NSX spottings in June at the Nurbrugring in Germany and as a result here are some speculative renderings to surface of Honda’s new V10 powered Acura NSX replacement.
Confirming widespread speculation, American Honda Motor Co. Inc. CEO Tesuo Iwamura told WardsAuto.com “We are developing it without any delay, so most probably we will have it in the period we already promised”. The car will arrive in 2010.
By most accounts, Honda originally planned to show off the next generation NSX to the seething throngs at last year’s Tokyo Motor Show. But due to the less-than-positive reception the Acura Advanced Sports Car concept garnered at the Detroit show, Honda’s designers headed back to the drawing board to redesign the front clip housing the 550 hp, 4.5-liter V10.

When discussing exotics and luxury cars, Honda is rarely a name brought up. Acura makes a decent attempt with their pseudo luxury sport sedans, but a product that is mass produced lacks the soul I look for in an automobile. But Honda has one name in their line-up that gives even the greatest of cynics (myself) goosebumps. The NSX.
There's mixed information about the new NSX, particularly around what the target market is. If it's going to combat the Gallardo and the F430, that bumps the price and the performance. If it takes on Aston Martin, that changes things as well. Maybe Honda's heard the same rumors and decided two different layouts as a result.
Ferrari has started the development of mid-engined F430 successor.
First test mules are based on the, yet to be released, F430 Challenge Stradale and have now started to rack up test kilometers on the Fiorano test track as well as the winding mountain roads around the Maranello headquarters.

The Acura NSX has a mid-engine, rear wheel drive layout. Plus an all aluminum body and chassis. The engine which is a V6 comes in two flavors, the 3.0 L C30A V6 and the 3.2 L C32B V6. Photos of the last 15 years included.
Looks like Honda is starting to feel the economic downturn pretty hard too. The long-awaited successor to the NSX has been at least temporarily canceled, surprisingly close to its release.

I am currently in the market for my next car, which I have decided to be a used Acura NSX. I plan on reporting the state of the used NSX market in North America as well as detailed findings for every car I interview to take the position as my daily driver car for 8 months of the year.
For the first time in 30 years, a new Honda factory will be built in Japan. Among other things, it will manufacture V10 engines for an upcoming supercar -- unquestionably the new NSX for the 2008-2009 model year.
