The movie "Redline," starring Eddie Griffin, is being produced by real-estate investor Daniel Sadek. The new James Bond, Daniel Craig, is not forsaking his (Ford-owned) Aston Martin, but he will also drive the new Mondeo in Casino Royale.
Ford hand-built a Mondeo earlier this year, so it could have a small part in the film, set in the Bahamas. It sounds like the car will only be on film for a few seconds, but Ford reckons hand-building a prototype is worth the exposure. Sequences from the film will also be used in a pan-European advertising campaign linking James Bond and the new Mondeo.

Banbury based supercar manufacturer, Ascari, has topped a public vote to find the star car for the forthcoming Hollywood adaptation of the 70\222s crime caper, the Persuaders. Notching up a victory for the underdog, Ascari stole the vote, with the stunning KZ1 now readying itself for its big screen appearance alongside some of tinsel town\222s biggest stars.
