German tuner G-Power has announced a 620 horsepower version of the BMW M6, called the G-Power G6. To match the added power, the car has upgraded brakes with 15.7″ rotors and 11-inch-wide Michelin tires to safely carry the car to its top speed of 208 mph. 0-62 mph is accomplished in under 4.5 seconds.
Lumma's retake on its own CLR 600 wide body kit first unveiled exactly a year ago differs from the original piece not only with its index where "S" stands for "street[-legal]" but also with a more subtle and less pretentious design. I mean, it doesn't suck so much this time.

Highlights of the day was my first ever spotting of a Saleen Mustang & F-Series pickup, both had California plates, BMW M6, Toyota 4Runner, white Mercedes-Benz SL500, Jaguar XK8 with dark tints, silver Range Rover with 22's and a pair of Pontiac Grand Prix's with brand new looking chrome wheels!
The new M6 convertible looks a lot like a regular 6-series convertible, except for the obvious M treatment on the outside. No real surprises here, but this car is definitely showing up soon.
No surprises here -- the M6 convertible was obviously coming, and it looks exactly the way people expected it to look, for better or for worse. Interesting to see an M6 badge on the car before it actually launches. No badges on the side.
Just as BMW\222s maximum performance coupe, the V10-powered M6 with the lightweight carbon fiber roof, is hitting U.S. dealers, enthusiasts are already looking ahead to the next mega-M: the 2007 M6 convertible. While BMW has yet to officially acknowledge the M6 drop-top is coming, these photos prove it exists, and our sources confirm the car is on the way to the U.S. market.
