Honda India will recall 8,532 City sedans that were sold in 2007 to replace a faulty power window switch. The move is part of a worldwide recall of City and Jazz/Fit cars that were fitted with the same faulty switch which, in certain cases, was catching fire.
Honda City, the most popular mid-size sedan, which has made wonders over the years in the Indian car market, is ready to launch in a new avatar by mid-September. The third generation Honda city will be available in 3 to 4 variants carrying different price tags and specifications and will be costlier than the current version.
