Of course there are lots of amazing cars at SpoCom, but no car show is truly complete with out the requisite bikini contest. And SpoCom 2009 did not disappoint...
The venue at Cobo Hall for the 2009 DUB Show Detroit didn't have the quantity of some of the major cities but the booth babes and girls working the various display areas were super nice and knowlegeable.

Surprisingly, Honda cars bagged four awards in a single award ceremony, the UTVi Autocar 2009, held at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai. Honda Accord grabbed an award for ‘Best Luxury Car 2009’ whereas the popular model Honda City received two awards- one for ‘Best Design and Styling’ and the other for ‘Viewers Choice Award’. Despite of the prevailing downturn, car manufacturers are all set to launch 50 new car models in India. Though the sales figures are crashing tremendously, showing the lowest sales in September-December quarter of 2008, car manufacturers are optimistic of their new car launches.
Hyundai India has increases the prices of its car models by 1.2 percent to 3 percent in order to absorb the high input cost. The car models like the Santro, i10, and the Accent is now heavy on pockets with the introduction of new price tags.

Recently, in response to the order passed by the state government, many cab service providers have decided to kick off the 25 years old Fiat Premier Padmini and replace this black-and-yellow cab with a better option.
