The rear axle: a Moser 9 inch rear with 3.73 posi. A Detroit Speed and Engineering hydroformed subframe and C6 steering knuckles and tubular control arms will make up the front suspension, followed in the rear by a Detroit Speed and Engineering Quadra-Link.

Hennessey Performance Engineering, the American tuning company responsible for producing insanely fast cars (like a Dodge Viper that runs rings around a Bugatti Veyron,) has created another beast - the 2010 HPE550 Camaro. While not as powerful as the HPE700 Camaro announced earlier this year, the HPE550 eases the pain of those who were looking forward to the top-of-the-line Chevy Camaro Z28 which may or may not be built.
A new video of the Chevrolet Camaro Concept from an event in Atlanta gives us a good sample of how this beast sounds. Since the concept is probably not constructed to take serious abuse (i.e. burnouts and slides), the driver was limited to revving the engine for spectators.

Sacrifices have had to be made at General Motors as the market struggles to improve. Among the sacrifices was the delay of the upcoming convertible version of the all-new Chevrolet Camaro. Luckily for Camaro fans, the Chevrolet muscle car has gotten off to a great start at dealers, which means a convertible version is coming to showrooms after all, but not until March of 2011
