This is without a doubt the cheaper alternative to buying the 997 and consists of an entirely new front spoiler bumper, two fenders with a racing fuel tank cap, plus an original Porsche parts kit including complete lighting units and headlamps (for vehicles with or without \223Litronic\224). At first sight, it is not possible to tell the 996 apart from the 997.

Switzer have been hard at work all last week fine-tuning the latest version of their 996 P800 PKG. The new Switzer-modified Tial Alpha based turbo design offers a substantial increase in power AND response compared to K16s, and dramatically improved response and smoother power delivery compared to conventional turbo kits with similar power claims.

In the Middle East they cover/coat their supercars in chrome (Chrome Ferrari 599 GTB Photos) and apparently in Russia they drive in solid gold covered Porsche 911 996 Cabriolets. More than 40 pounds of the pure gold was harmed in coating this eastern gem. Looks like this yellow brick road could potentially belong to the Wizard of OZ
The 996GT2 has a fearsome reputation as a bit of a brute. Lots of grunt going through the rear wheels only...sounds OK to me. This one was at a Porsche Club race event at Sydney's Eastern Creek raceway.
